Oil Transfer line North Dakota
Conoco Philipps contracted Michels Corporation[link] of Brownsville, Wisconsin to bore three eight inch oil transfer pipes to one of its new sites in the little Missouri River Valley just north of Killdeer, ND--each pipe is 7,400’ long. The area that the project is in has been deemed a slide area, therefore the pipe cannot be installed by conventional trenching methods. Known for having one of the highest quality heavy construction rental [link] fleets in the area, Worldwide Rental Services[link] was instrumental in allowing Michels to complete the job in a timely manner. WRS came to the rescue when the drilling rig needed a constant flow of water to the boring unit—our fleet of late model 4,000 gallon water trucks filled this order perfectly. The water truck rental from WRS was a great option because the difficult terrain required higher quality machinery and a manual transmission. Since the initial equipment rental, WRS has sent Milchels a second 4,000 gallon Water Truck, and a Caterpillar 320 Excavator. When it comes to the right equipment for the toughest jobs Worldwide Rental Services is the only choice.
